HTC Reports One Max Handset May Come To Verizon

There is great news for HTC mobile phone lovers and that is a new handset is now on its way to Verizon Wireless. This mobile phone is said to be a flagship mobile to the HTC One Max series of phones. The device is coming to the network of Verizon and a poster released recently states this mobile will have a large display and come with a high quality fingerprint scanner similar to the one that is found in the iphone 5S of Apple. Besides the above rumor the HTC One Max has a backplate that can be removed.

There have been rumors in the last few months that the Company is all set to launch a new handset in its flagship category called the One Max. We also saw some leaked images being released online in the month of August. These leaked photographs by the Press display a mobile phone that looks like the same one launched in the Android forums.

When it comes to confirmation neither HTC nor Verizon have confirmed reports. The phone will be heading to shelves soon and this is why it is very important for the Company to take these leaked images seriously. Whatever be the case, the news is in that a new phone from the HTC brand is on its way!

In another news relating to the above it has been revealed that the Company has reported its first loss in the quarter after going public in 2002. The flagship mobile has so far struggled a lot in the face of tough competition from its rivals Samsung and Apple. The handset maker from Taiwan stated that it had recorded a net loss of NT $2.97 billion in the three month period ending September 30^th. This is greater than the net loss of NT $1.8 billion polled by analysts by Thomsom Reuters. HTC has reported a net profit of NT $3.9 billion last year.

The company has a strong sales momentum however it suffered a great setback in the recent drop of sales. One major set-back was the delay in the launch of the HTC One due to technical issues. This led to a 70% fall in the net profit during the first quarter of 2012. Another issue the company is facing is the casing shortage of the HTC One Mini. There are supply problems and this has been very bad for the reputation of the Company!
