HTC reports its Q4 2010 results

Recently Peter Chou, the CEO of HTC, has summed up the HTC Q4 2010 results, boasted with the successes of the company and shared his views on the market for Tablet PCs. The profit of the company during October-December gave a stunning 160% growth result which is great compared with the previous year. The total income of the company during this period made NT $ 104mlrd, while the net profit of NT $ 14.59mlrd (approximately $ 500 million).

In total, over the past year there have been 24.6 million smartphones sold, the result outperformed that of 2009. According to forecasts, sales growth in first quarter will continue, and in March the number of devices will exceed 8,5 million units.
