HTC Releasing Smartphones on WinMo 7?

windows-mobile-7Regardless of the fact that most of the attention was shifted from WinMo OS to Android OS, there is some interesting  information about the first one. Web resource WMPoweruser based on reliable sources notes that three of the smartphones based on Windows Mobile 6.5 (HTC Trophy, HTC Tera, HTC Photon) from the recent roadmap are only part of WinMo-gadgets, scheduled for release in 2010.

As it turned out, these smartphones are intended only for mobile operator T-Mobile. In addition there will be announced other gadgets based on Windows Mobile.

The second news is that Microsoft chose the HTC as a strategic partner for the production of devices based on newer Windows Mobile 7. It was learned that the Taiwanese manufacturer is planning to release smartphones running the Windows Mobile 7 already in the first half of 2010, although this may happen a little later, around the third quarter.
