US fourth biggest carrier T-Mobile has a list of awesome smartphones, but not all of them are popular. Moreover, some of them are lost in the crowd, but we can’t say the same for the HTC Radar 4G — a mid-range smartphone, which can seem a loser at first sight. However, I have “disappointing” news if you think there are more high-end smartphone owners than mid-range and low-end ones — Canaccord Genuity has released a report showing the HTC Radar 4G is on the third place in T-Mobile’s inventory in terms of popularity and sell rates.
The data doesn’t refer to the whole year, but only to the November-December (2011) period. The Radar 4G is the third highest rated smartphone at T-Mobile scoring 4.8 points out of 5 with 106 reviews. The first and the second places belong to the Samsung Galaxy S II and the Nokia Lumia 710.
As for the selling numbers, the HTC Radar comes third after the Samsung Galaxy S II and the HTC Amaze.
Evidently, Windows Phone smartphones are very popular in the US, so the Taiwanese manufacturer can resolutely focus on Microsoft’s platform, just like Nokia did.
