HTC Pyramid to be Launched in the UK as HTC Sensation

When we first heard about the HTC Pyramid, we thought it would be a tablet. But in the middle of March it became clear the Taiwanese manufacturer was working on a new smartphone, moreover, a high-end smartphone. Now the rumors claim the HTC Pyramid will be launched in the UK as the HTC Sensation on April 12.

We don’t know much about this new smartphone yet, and all the information we have is not official. The HTC Pyramid (aka Sensation) is equipped with a 4.3-inch touchscreen with a qHD resolution, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM, 8MP camera on the back of the phone and a VGA camera on the front. The Pyramid is an Android powered device that also supports the HTC Sense UI 3.0.

As you see, the phone sports many awesome features, and it is not surprising that users are impatient to get it in their hands. But unfortunately, HTC hasn’t said anything about this upcoming device yet, and we are waiting for the company to unveil some details next month at Android focused event.

The phone’s pictures leaked several times and we know that the company is now working on both the Pyramid and the myTouch 4G. Although we are waiting for its announcement to take place next month, probably it won’t happen after all, since the same expectations were at CTIA 2011, and the company didn’t say anything. So we can only hope the next flagship of the manufacturer will be available soon and with the above mentioned features, so that we can say it was worth waiting for.
