The HTC Proto was leaked in a wild photo several days ago. Today it’s clear the phone will be renamed to the HTC Desire X at launch.
The HTC Desire X was shown at ePrice, where the handset appeared in all its charm. The handset belongs to the mid-range category, meaning the HTC One X will remain the manufacturer’s most powerful device.
The Desire X will come with a 4-inch WVGA resolution Super LCD display, a 1GHz dual core processor, 4GB ROM, 768MB RAM, a microSD memory card slot, a 5MP camera, 2 years of Dropbox storage at 25GB, a 1650mAh battery and so on. HTC has powered it with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich with Beats Audio and HTC Sense 4.1.
The features of the device are not that astonishing, neither is the design. It measures 118.5×62.3×9.3mm and weighs 114g. The phone will work with HSPA/WCDMA (Asia/Europe 900/2100MHz), GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900MHz).
