In mid-June we reported the HTC One V would land on Virgin Mobile stores in a week. Though its launch was delayed, we are not disgruntled because we have seen longer delays in our practice. It will be the device’s first appearance in the US, though the phone passed FCC gates back in March. The phone, however, was already announced by the carrier, so there is actually nothing surprising.
The HTC One V is priced aggressively and we have nothing to complain about. Virgin Mobile is selling the One V for only $199 off contract. But if you think this is a weak Android-packed smartphone, look at the key features of the device because there are a few attractive ones.
HTC One V specs list:
- 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen at resolution of 480×800 pixels
- 1GHz processor
- 512MB of RAM
- 4GB of native storage, microSD card support
- 5MP rear camera
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
- HTC Sense 4.0
- Beats Audio
So are you ready to pay a couple of Franklins for this low-end HTC device?
