HTC One S Won European Social Media Phone Award

It’s always interesting to learn which devices are recognized as the best in different nominations. This time we have the European Imaging and Sound Association, EISA, which has announced the winners of several categories. HTC has its representative among the awarded gadgets.

Firstly, the Samsung Galaxy S III won the award of the European Mobile Phone of 2012-2013. It’s one of the most respectable nominations. So which features helped the phone get it? As EISA experts have mentioned the handset is a perfect example of the abundance of new technologies such as S-Voice, Smart Stay and Direct Call.

As to the HTC One S, the phone won the European Social Media Phone 2012-2013 award. HTC’s hero stood out thanks to its ‘micro arc oxidation’ technology used to treat the aluminum casing of the phone, AMOLED screen and 8MP camera.

Nokia wasn’t left without awards, and its 808 PureView won the European Mobile Photo Achievement 2012-2013. We have to say this is a quite deserved award, as Nokia PureView Pro imaging is the best camera technology available on current smartphones.
