The HTC One S was the first One series handset that became available in the market. It was first launched in Europe and only then in the US. Now the phone is traveling to other countries with some specs changes made by the manufacturer. HTC earlier announced the HTC One S packed with a 1.7GHz dual-core S3 processor instead of a 1.5GHz dual-core S4 one would be launched in select markets. Now this model is a reality as it is launched in India and other low income countries.
The HTC One S launched in India costs from 33,000 INR to 36,000 INR (around $600-$650). The same phone is sold in Singapore for S948, which equals to $750 USD. The price tag changes in Malaysia, where it is offered for RM 1,800 ($580 USD), though the Beats Audio limited edition is sold for RM 2,000 ($700 USD). The HTC fans living in Indonesia can pick it for 5.5 million Rupiah ($585 USD), while in the Philippines the HTC One S will be launched at Php 27,000 ($630 USD).

This is not the best One series smartphone but its specs are too impressive and the abovementioned price tags correspond to them. The HTC One S comes with a 4.3-inch AMOLED screen with qHD resolution, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of native storage, an 8MP camera with 1080p video recording capabilities at 29fps and a VGA frontal camera.
