After being launched via the main carriers, the HTC One series smartphones are already offered via other local carriers too. For example, the HTC One S was launched in the US via T-Mobile but now the phone is available at Cincinnati Bell as well.
It’s the same model we saw in T-Mobile stores and in European countries. Thus, the device comes with a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, unlike the models launched in India and packed with a dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon S3 processor. The rest of features remain the same meaning the One S offered via Cinci sports a 4.3-inch qHD touchscreen, 16GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera with an ability to record 1080p Full HD videos at 29fps, a VGA frontal camera, a 1650mAh battery, and it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4.0 UI and Beats Audio support.
The launch date of the HTC One S in Cincinnati Bell’s stores is set to be June 25. As expected the device will be offered at $199 after a $100 mail-in rebate. It’s the on contract price; if not the handset will cost you several hundred dollars.
