If you think HTC One and it’s Mini, are the ending of One series, then it is the news just for you. There were rumors about the existence of HTC One Max – the biggest version of HTC One. Now we can even see it’s specifications by it’s images recently leaked. It is the handset which matches to the other two HTC One phones – HTC One and HTC One Mini.
HTC One Max will have the similar specifications like HTC One and HTC One Mini, o f course excepting the screen size. It will have a 5.9’’ screen, making it one of the bigger screen smartphones. It is likely to have dual speakers at the front. The body will of aluminum with a polycarbonate strip running through the sides of the phone.
It’s specifications, as seen from the leaked images and the information received from several other sources, include the 5.9″ 1080p display and a Snapdragon 800 chipset with a quad-core 2.3GHz Krait 400 processor. It will also have Adreno 330 graphics and 2GB of RAM. The camera of this bigger device will be really amazing. It will feature a 4MP UltraPixel camera with OIS. It’s internal storage is likely to be 16GB, with the storage option in microSD card a It’s battery will be 3300mAh with the size being a 9.4mm. It is expected that this HTC One Max will run on Android Jelly Bean 4.3.
This bigger version of HTC One works with the same intensity of pixels as the HTC One,. So it is slightly less sharp than its predecessor. It is expected that this device will be released along with another HTC device – HTC Butterfly S. HTC Butterfly S is exactly similar to HTC One Max excepting the display size and camera.
This 6 inch screen phone is likely to released in this September to match with the release with another gigantic smartphone – Samsung Galaxy Note III. But it is interesting to see whether it can compete with the device from the South Korean mobile maker to regain it’s lost market share. In the second quarter, HTC has already faced huge loss in market share making it’s profit dropped by 83%. An audit report said the company has a profit of US$ 40 million on the revenue of US$ 2.34 billion in the April – June quarter, which is 83% less than the same period last year. Its’ third quarter revenues as well as profits are likely to drop further. Therefore, a good performance at least in sales is very important for HTC to reconsolidate itself.
