HTC One Android 4.3 Update Soon in India

Recently, HTC has good news for Indians as its coming out with the Android 4.3 upgrade for HTC One users. Although the Jelly Bean 4.3 Android update for other countries started in early September, update for India was long overdue. This update is now released over-the-air in India.

 

This news has been further confirmed on Facebook and commented, “Please note that you can now update your software to the latest HTC Sense 5.5 with Android 4.3 for the #HTCOne. Expect to see improvements with HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe, Sense TV, Video Highlights, HTC Share, Quick Settings and other improvements.” This update of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and HTC Sense 5.5 UI of HTC will surely bring in many new innovations to other applications. The other improvements on HTC One upgrade included animation during battery charging when switched off, lots of new innovation in image gallery and camera also has an upgrade in relation to low light. Playlists also has a update where you can highlight the soundtracks as per your desire. You can access recommended news from your favourite social network, additional global news, save articles using RSS to read them at a later time and create custom feeds. There is no update on the comprehensive changelog, yet.

Android 4.3 update for HTC One dual-SIM will be available for the users at a later time. This upgrade is strictly for the HTC One 3G users. At a recent post update in Facebook, it looks like HTC One update will soon bring additional Google Drive space for the mobile users. The mobile owners will get a notification on the Google Drive application to update the free additional storage; this can be done only after updating the phone to Sense 5.5 UI.

In Europe and Middle East countries, HTC will roll out the update by the end of January, but the Play Edition of HTC will come out before 2014 year ends.

This OTA package can be downloaded at the size of only 704MB. Hence, a decent internet connection must be available to download the update. To download the new software just do these simple steps to download it easily: Settings > About > Software Updates and click on the Check now button. It is highly recommended to download it using Wi-Fi connection as poor connectivity may disturb the download and will stall it in middle.
