We heard about the HTC Omega back in May only knowing the phone will most likely run Windows Phone Mango. At the beginning the phone appeared with another HTC device, the Eternity, and every time it surfaced in the net we saw them together. As a proof of my words I can recall the case with a couple of photos showing cases for these handsets. Anyway, until now we didn’t know anything for sure, but now the device has been caught online.

The HTC Omega was spotted on Elbert Perez’s game stats page meaning the device is being tested and we’ll get our hands on it soon. We are aware about a little number of its features, but it is enough (for this time) to guess the Omega will succeed. The smartphone sports a 3.8-inch SLCD touchscreen, a third-gen Qualcomm chipset clocked at 1.5GHz, and as I’ve already said, it will run Mango being the first smartphone of HTC with this version of Windows Phone platform.
Look at the list and under the Nokia 800 you’ll see the name HTC Omega, so we can only wait for the official announcement now.
