The current flagships based on Google Android OS are Motorola Droid (Milestone) and HTC Nexus One. We present to your attention a video comparison of the displays of Motorola Droid (Milestone) and HTC Nexus One under direct sunlight.
Milestone is equipped with a 3,7 “LCD TFT-panel with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, while the Nexus One comes with a 3,7″ AMOLED-display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
As you can see from the video, the AMOLED-screen is much better looking under direct sunlight, and in normal lighting conditions – the picture is bright, juicy, vibrant and colorful when viewing photos and watching the video. However, AMOLED display is not perfect – the author of the video complains about individual pixels, and in some cases, LCD showed a clearer picture. Watch the video and waiting for your comments if you have compared those screens.
