The xda-developers forum has presented a “spy shot” of a new device again. A new user has posted info about the device with the name of the famous composer — Mozart. Some of the other users confirmed the info, so the device most likely exists.
The mission of the new smartphone is to promote Windows Phone 7, and the price of $49 will contribute to that goal. The HTC Mozart will be presented via two carriers — Telstra and T-Mobile, so the price is valid only if you sign a contract with one of them. Home sales are expected in October.
However, pay attention to the picture of the device. If you look at the picture, you will see a familiar HTC Desire with no less familiar screenshots of Windows Phone 7. This is why many people think the “spy photo” is fake.
And if it’s not fake, we’ll get one of the first WP7-devices. The HTC Mozart, according to pocketnow, will be released in October at an affordable price. We hope the appearance of the device will be attractive, too, since it’s a very important factor when choosing a device.
