HTC Merge hands-on video

HTC Merge is a dual-mode smartphone that will work both for LTE and CDMA. The handset should be launched earlier but it needed a dual-mode radio to the gadget so its release had been delayed. It’ll be offered via multiple carriers which makes us to think the Merge could become very popular device statewide and out of its borders.

At first the phone was called HTC Lexicon/Lexikon then when it began its way on the huge smartphone market the handset was renamed to the HTC Merge. Among many carriers Verizon is the foremost as the Merge would be the first dual-mode smartphone in carrier’s lineup and I am sure it’ll do its best to promote the gadget properly. Though I am going to introduce you a HTC Merge hands-on video grabbed from Intomobile, but it’s a little sadly to realize the phone should be launched on November 18th, 2010, though it didn’t happen. Then it was announced the HTC Merge will be on stores some time in Spring by the name the HTC Droid Merge World-Phone.

There was a time when geeks were afraid not to see a LTE smartphone via Verizon, but the carrier had only announced there wouldn’t be any LTE until 2011. Though the last news that have come through FCC, there is no 4G LTE radio, so we have a thing to worry about.

Anyway, the HTC Merge is an Android smartphone equipped with an 800MHz processor, 3.7-inch touchscreen, 5MP camera with a single LED flash and full hardware QWERTY keyboard.

So, this is not one from those HTC handsets that are kept in secret, as HTC unveiled many details about it, and as its launch date is closing we only have to see how it looks like in a real.
