HTC likely to launch One Mini in August

Rumors have been doing round the corner for last few weeks about the official launch of HTC One Mini and now a new deadline has been mentioned – it is likely to be launched in the month of August, most probably on 3^rd August. In fact, previously it was already rumored this phone will come in August. So it seems to be a reliable information. But as per the previous announcement from HTC, it would definitely be launched in the third quarter of this year. Now it may also happen that HTC is launching this phone in this July itself.  But the August deadline seems to be exact as of now because as per the information from the @LlabTooFeR,, a source close to HTC, the HTC One Mini will be announced in August, not in July.

Reports are also there suggesting that there is a possibility of the release of HTC One Mini in Germany on August 3. But so far, there is no confirmation about the date of the release of this phone and when it will hit the market.  The tentative deadline for the release is likely to overlap with the release of another much-awaited smartphone – Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini.
There are already several images of this smaller version of HTC One available in internet which helped the users to visualize the design of this upcoming phone. Images confirm that the younger cousin of HTC One will have a 4.3 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

This smaller version of the flagship smartphone from this Tawanese mobile making major is likely to feature a dual core 1.4GHz processor, probably the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor. Previously it was rumored that the HTC One Mini would run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. This device will have 2GB RAM and 16GB of built in storage, Sense 5. It will include a microSD card slot for added memory. The camera for this phone will be HTC’s Ultrapixel camera which allows to capture colorful photos even in low –light conditions quite rapidly. The UltraPixel camera sensor provides advanced imaging technology. It uses 300% more light than other regular smartphone camera sensors.

The timing of the release of this device is going to be significant as other smartphone makers including Samsung and apple, are going to launch the mini versions of their flagship smartphones. So a third quarter release of this HTC One Mini will mark the competition of three mini version handsets from three leading smartphone producers.
