It is always a pity to get a phone on a two year contract and see that with the appearance of new gadgets your older one becomes somehow overlooked.
However manufacturers were kind towards Dell Streak and HTC Legend owners and soon Android 2.2 will be coming to their handsets.
Finally after a number of customer complaints the Dell Streak, which now runs archaic Android 1.6, will be getting the FroYo update within the next few weeks.
HTC Legend will share Dell Streak’s destiny as Vodafone has promised, but its update will begin today. The launch of the HTC Desire left the HTC Legend in the shade, but things will get better soon enough.
