Just now HTC finally got a Wi-Fi Alliance certification for the device codenamed as PG05100, which might be the same gadget known as HTC Knight. The only difference is that the second device was earlier code-named as PG06100. But the main specs are the same. The device supports 802.11 b/g/n, but next to WiMax here we do have added WMM Power Save and CWG-RF-certification for specific cellular/Wi-Fi convergence requirements.
The earlier rumor was that HTC Knight is going to be called HTC Evo Shift 4G, but this rumored was dismissed after the official announcement, that the company is not going to release smartphone with such a name. So let’s how it will work out for now.
