Back in April we saw a new HTC device designed particularly for the Japanese market. It’s the HTC One J. The phone was launched in Japan in May, and there was no word whether it would arrive in other markets or not. Now there is, since HTC has announced the HTC J will be released in Taiwan sometime soon.
As to the features, the HTC J is the slightly modified variant of the HTC One X, though the same thing cannot be said for their design and dimensions — the HTC J differs from the One X externally and it is way thicker than its “sire.” The rest of features are almost identical. The HTC J sports a 4.3-inch qHD display, Beats Audio technology, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4. Just like in Japan, the phone will be released in Taiwan in three colors, HTC says.
At the moment, HTC fans are interested whether the device will be available in other markets or not. Nevertheless, if the manufacturer decides not to launch it in Europe or the US not many people will be upset.
