HTC has never been a trusted manufacturer in regard to cameras until the Sensation 4G and myTouch 4G Slide were launched and the company could boast of something in the niche. For a long time there were only two manufacturers offering cameraphones — Nokia with its N8, which is still unreachable, and Sony Ericsson with its CyberShot series. Now HTC has developed a special technology, which will help it go ahead of its competitors.
This new technology is called ImageSense and it is one of the three pillars of the new Sense 4.0. In short, the HTC ImageSense allows users to shoot pictures in 0.7 seconds and get auto-focus in 0.2 seconds. Moreover, the novelty has its own processor, which is something new in this area. It saves pictures in RAW format for greater processing flexibility on the device before you get them in a more user-friendly JPEG format. Plus, users can make shots while recording a video.
Let’s agree HTC has moved on and it’s gladsome it has brought something more beyond the panorama mode.
