Thai launch of the WP7 smartphones seems to be a great idea for the manufacturer of the OS. According to Bangkok Posts it was simply a success.

And the thing is that the OS was coming in a form of a single device from HTC- HTC HD7. Not long after the launch of the device all of the units were sold. The smartphone was brought to Thailand by the second largest GSM mobile phone provider, Dtac.
The price of the gadget was 22 900 baht (something like $760) and in addition to this they have to pay monthly 799 baht (almost $27). The contract includes 3GB of data.
There are rumors that soon they will also add an application to WP7 devices, with the help of which the smartphones will support Asian languages.
