HTC HD7 Getting 8107 Windows Phone Update

The HTC HD7 is no longer available for purchase in T-Mobile stores but the carrier still supports it — it means its owners will receive various minor and major updates in the next months. Of course, no one is talking about Windows Phone 7.5 Mango or Refresh updates, but the phone is not devoid of bugs and they must be fixed. One such update has been discussed in T-Mobile support forums, and according to users, it has been available since March 19.

This minor 8107 update doesn’t have a long changelog and fixes a few bugs only. People were especially concerned about the disappearing keyboard bug, which will now be solved.

To check the update’s availability take a look at your Zune or Mac Windows Phone Connector for notifications. The update is pushed out region by region, so don’t get upset if you don’t find it in the notifications.

To those who relate all T-Mobile’s Windows Phone handsets with each other I have to say there is no word whether this 8107 update will come to the Nokia Lumia 710 or not.
