For those who want to upgrade their HTC HD7 handsets and have no time to wait for an official update (it will never come because T-Mobile has stopped offering it, while Rogers has already updated its handsets), I have good news as a developer named DotCompt has recently released a custom ROM running the latest public version of Windows Phone 7.5, 8107. Unlike the previous ROMs, this one comes with fewer bugs and a couple of newly released apps available for only those smartphones, which run the latest version of Microsoft’s platform.
Before you check out the source to find out all the instructions to implement your “sneaky plan,” get acquainted what goodies come with this build. It’s a fully unlocked ROM, which offers internet sharing with a static MAC address. Plus, it comes in 23 languages and 19 accent colors. And finally, it runs HTC Location and HTC Connected Media and the DeepShining super tool. If you have a friend who owns an HTC Titan, let him know that these apps are available for it because the Titan has recently received 8107 OS update (the apps came with it).
Seems this ROM is reliable, so I guess most of you will back up your data and get down to work. And do not forget to share your experience; it would be highly appreciated.
