HTC has decided to launch a new update for its Windows Phone devices, the HTC Mozart and the HTC HD7. Feels like the update is worldwide as there’s a feedback from at least three countries, India, Switzerland and Poland.
The update is coded as 2250.21.51007.401. Together with a wide list of enhancements it brings Internet sharing capabilities to these two awesome devices. Internet sharing used to be a prerogative of the Windows Phone Mango devices, but as we see HTC has plans to change this trend.
To get the update the users of the HTC Mozart and the HTC HD7 should click on the Zune icon. This is a great chance for the WP handset owners to get some sort of Mango experience, as this feature could be found on Android devices of earlier version.
Still there’s no word about T-Mobile HTC HD7 to receive the update. This might be reasoned by the carrier. Most of the time this carrier doesn’t allow manufacturers to add items that can influence the safety of the handsets. Internet sharing can be included in that list. Just hope this time the carrier will be more generous.
