We have already written about two versions for the concept of new generation HTC HD3 and presented its alleged specifications.
New information about the concept device has appeared. The source , familiar with the situation, reported interesting details about the new product.
The HTC HD3 will be equipped with a fingerprint scanner and an alarm system warning about the unauthorized access. For the device with the estimated price of about $1200 this function will be most welcomed one.
If the HD3 is in self security regime, the device will “feel” that it has been picked up, and will require a finger to a scanner. If the owner is not able to confirm his identity in time, the phone starts loud alarms, similar to the ones arranged on the cars. In addition, the device will take pictures by the main and front cameras at regular intervals (set in System Preferences) and try to send them via Wi-Fi, 3G or GPRS connection to the e-mail of its owner.
As for the additional protective measures there’s an opportunity of the periodical getting the coordinates of current location of HD3 with the help of the backup number with SMS-messages, obtained through the built-in GPS-receiver.
It is expected that HTC HD3 will go on sale in holiday season of 2010. Believe? No! It’s just a concept!
