Another HTC smartphone has been leaked in a photo called official press image by the guys over at PocketNow. It’s the earlier-rumored HTC Golf — a low-end smartphone with decent features coming to fulfill the list of HTC One series smartphones.
The HTC Golf will be renamed to the HTC Wildfire C but it resembles the One X more than the Wildfire/Wildfire S. Anyway, the renaming will be conditioned by the fact the original Wildfire and its successor were very popular among those who couldn’t afford high-end devices. As the next low-end smartphone of the manufacturer, the Golf will have the same mission.
In this sense, we mustn’t expect much from the device though in terms of software users will hardly pick any holes. The HTC Golf is packed with a 1GHz single-core processor, which looks quite unacceptable considering the dual-core and the quad-core chips of the other One series handsets. Its camera sports 5MP lens, a photo taken by it was the first gleam of the existence of the Golf.
Other than that, the handset runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4.0 and Beats Audio. You can also add 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and 25GB of free Dropbox storage to the specs list.
