HTC Glamor – First Smartphone for Ladies

In the beginning of May we wrote that HTC was planning to release an Android-based smartphone designed especially for women and called the HTC Bliss. Less than two months have passed, and again we heard about HTC’s plans to create a bright female-focused smartphone…

An image demonstrating a mysterious device (in three bright colors — yellow, blue and pink) called the HTC Glamor has leaked in the Internet. If you remember, there were no official images of the HTC Bliss when we wrote about it, so there is a chance that the HTC Glamor is the same HTC Bliss, just renamed. However, there are some differences between these too “female” smartphones: the HTC Bliss was reported to be green and should look like the Desire S (or the Desire Z), while the new HTC Glamor, according to its pic, is more like the Incredible S (and the HTC Sensation… a bit).

Nothing is known about the technical specs or the OS version of the HTC Glamor, but I dare to think that the most important things are the appearance and the name of this device that should attract women’s attention. Will it work? Will many women like to have a device of such bright colors and such a name? Mmm, time will show…
