HTC Freestyle now available via AT&T for $99.99

The HTC Freestyle is a mid-range smartphone which is designed for people who like messaging, so it is dedicated as a quick messaging phone. Though it’s not the only handset with such orientation, there is also the HTC Smart for the US market, but be sure this one is good enough too. As it was announced earlier the handset will be available from February 13 for $99.99, now you can get it from AT&T’s stores for the announced price with two-year contract. It’s enough surprising, as the device was firstly announced at CES 2011, and I didn’t think the phone will be available so soon.

The HTC Freestyle is based on the BREW Mobile Platform which is a mobile operating system providing high-end features across all 3G technologies and is developed for low-end, mid-range and data-rich features phones. The Brew MP is developed by Qualcomm which unveiled this system a year ago and that time the only smartphone running Brew MP was the HTC Smart. Apparently, the cooperation was in favor of the company and they decided to continue it introducing the HTC Freestyle.
