A mysterious smartphone with HTC branding will be launched via Verizon. The handset is called the HTC Fireball, but I deeply believe this is a codename, so it will be renamed at launch date. Moreover, the HTC Fireball is rumored to be a global LTE device alongside with the LG Spectrum. Both handsets are not that much talked about, but now that the first one has got Wi-Fi certification, we have all reasons to think its launch date is closer than we could imagine.
All in all, Wi-Fi certifications don’t show which model they belong to, but looking at the model number we can make some conclusions. This is the case, and judging by one of the certification model numbers, we can assume we are dealing with the same HTC Fireball.
No idea when the handset will be unveiled and what it will look like, but as the closest electronic show is the Mobile World Congress, we hope to see the HTC Fireball launched together with many other awesome handsets.
