It’s both annoying and gladdening to learn that the update, which was expected to arrive sometime later, suddenly arrives right on the next day or within a few days after you post about it. At the moment, we are dealing with a similar case because just yesterday I was telling you about when Sprint would launch an update that would fix the problem related to the lack of Google Wallet on the HTC Evo 4G LTE while it turns out Sprint has already started pushing it out to the final consumers.
The update changes the software version to version 1.22.651.3 and unlike all previous updates that should fix the problem this one is meant to address particularly this issue. Besides enabling Google Wallet on the Evo 4G LTE, the update brings several other changes as well. The full list is below:
- Google security updates
- Wi-Fi disconnect issue
- Time zone issue
- Google Wallet fix
- Side loaded video pause issue
- Random power cycling issue
- Pioneer Bluetooth Car Kit connection issue
- Gallery app crash
- Calendar reminder (all day even time) issue
It’s rolled out over-the-air, thus users should be getting a notification saying the update is ready to be installed. But if they haven’t got anything yet, they can do it manually.
