HTC’s Evo line offers many attractive devices, and one of them is the HTC Evo 4G+ that comes with the “Rider” codename. We don’t know much about this smartphone — its first pictures leaked at the end of April with the HTC Kingdom, then, after a couple of weeks, the phone’s features surfaced together with the HTC Holiday and the HTC Puccini. Moreover, we know the HTC Evo 4G+ is almost the same HTC Evo 3D without the 3D functionality. Now it became clear the phone starts its way to the smartphone market — it appeared in the Korean KT lineup.
The device will be available in Korea with the name Evo 4G+. It sounds a little bit haughty, but “4G” isn’t enough anymore for the current mobile world. Traditionally, the Evo line handsets are rather good in connectivity area, and the HTC Evo 4G+ will support Korea’s flavor of WiMax, called WiBro, plus 4.4 Mbps HSPA, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
The HTC Rider is another high-end smartphone equipped with many awesome features that include a 4.3-inch qHD touchscreen, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear-facing camera with dual-LED flash and an ability to record HD videos at 1080p, and a 1.3MP front-facing camera for video chat.
No words about its launch date or price, but all the needed information will become available in the nearest future.
