HTC EVO 3D Hands-On

Finally HTC made the appearance of the gadget HTC EVO 3D and we do have a chance to have a look at the main features ourselves. The first and the most important feature of 3D display works amazing. The main support for the great functionality is being done due to the presence of the powerful 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor. It optimizes the display playback of 3D content.

3D videos integrated into the device look great, while the original camera shots of the gadget are no less impressive. And even if we do compare this 4.3 inch display device with the recent novelties with 3D support- Optimus 3D, Optimus Tab and Sharp Galapagos, the functionality is great mainly on HTC device.

But in contrast to the video shots we are having some problems with the actual photos taken by the gadget camera. Unlike the videos pics are quite blurry and do not have the sense of high-end device shots. Here HTC needs to make some improvements.

The switch between 3D and 2D is quite easy to do through camera application with the help of the special hardware switch. There are even some assumptions that HTC will extend 3D functionality to its games and applications. Well, this is not a formal info, thus we rather wait for a little while.

As for the rest of the specs of the device, we might mention Android 2.3 with Sense 2.1 UI, 4G WiMax radios and dual cameras. These are all typical HTC devices specs, thus we can say that except of the 3D feature, there’s nothing new about the software of the device.
