HTC eReader, the official app for reading electronic books, included in the latest versions of HTC Sense interface, is now available for many smartphones in the form of conventional cab-file thanks to craftsmen. A few books are already included in the assembly, but they are in English. So if you need books in other languages you will be able to add them manually.

Currently it is known that the reader supports ePub formatted books. Resources with ePub-books can be found in the corresponding sites through search systems. For example, epubbooks.

You will need the program Manila Ebook Tab indexer for that (included in the archive, off – xda)

Instructions:
1) Download the book you want
2) Copy it in the folder \ My Documents \ Reader \ Books (format name – author.epub)
3) Copy the cover to the \ My Documents \ Reader \ Images (format name – author.jpg)
4) Run eBookIndexer (Net CF 3.5 is required), and index the new books (limit – 20pcs)
5) Done!

At the moment, the eReader is in the process of being tested.There is no information about compatibility of the eReader with different smartphones.
