The HTC Endeavor might end up coming neither as Edge, nor as Supreme. The handset might get re-branding and be released as the HTC One X, while in the full naming we have X as a superscript (HTC One X). Following this sample, the HTC Ville might also get released with an S superscript — the HTC One S. Both names were confirmed by some of the most popular phone blogs.
This might be HTC’s strategy in launching the new lineup expected to save HTC from its continuous losses. The new “One” branding sounds pretty good.
The HTC One X will come equipped with a 4.7-inch display, a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM and an 8 megapixel camera. The novelty will be launched pre-installed with Android 4.0 ICS and corresponding HTC Sense 4.0 UI.
As for the HTC One S we have a 4.3-inch display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM.
In addition to these handsets, which will be revealed at MWC 2012, Slashgear expects HTC to launch a brand new handset and a tablet. We have no idea about the tablet. As for the third handset, it might be the Verizon-branded ICS handset leaked without any naming.
