CTIA 2012 has started, and we already have the first good news coming from Verizon and HTC — they jointly unveiled the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE. This handset has been rumored for a long time now, and though we had many leaked photos and rumors regarding its features we chose not to fall into euphoria until the official announcement. Now that everything is official, we can quietly take a look at its specs list.
The third-gen Droid Incredible line device is the first in terms of supporting LTE. Thus, it took three generations until the manufacturer was able to bring this feature to the line. Besides that, there are many awesome features borrowed from the One X, though not everything is identical with the latter.
The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE sports a 4-inch qHD Super LCD touchscreen, a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of native storage expandable up to 32GB due to a microSD card slot, an 8MP rear camera with a 28mm, f/2.2 lens, a VGA frontal camera, and a 1700mAh battery. As to dimensions, it comes at 122x61x11.7mm and weighs 132g. The phone also supports NFC.
The Droid Incredible 4G LTE runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4.0. The launch date and the pricing are not disclosed yet. What we know is Verizon has said it will release the phone in coming weeks without mentioning the exact date and the price tag.
