As promised the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE was launched in the US via Verizon Wireless on July 5. This is the first Incredible line handset supporting LTE, and the latter is the selling point of the phone, though there are a myriad of amazing features. The Droid Incredible 4G LTE was launched a little bit at the wrong time because the most powerful Android device will be released on July 10 via Verizon (AT&T and Sprint have already launched it), and it will beat all the other Android and non-Android handsets undoubtedly. However, those who are addicted to HTC won’t be disappointed.
The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE comes with a 4-inch qHD Super LCD touchscreen powered with Gorilla Glass, a dual-core Krait processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of native storage, an 8MP camera recording Full HD videos, a 1.3MP frontal camera, a 1700mAh battery and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS with HTC Sense 4.0 UI.
Big Red is selling the phone for only $149.99 with a new two-year agreement. I say “only” because it was initially announced the smartphone would be available for $299.99, but as the Galaxy S III comes at the same time and at this price tag, Verizon must reduce Droid Incredible 4G LTE’s pricing to sell as many devices as possible.
