HTC Droid Incredible 4G (aka HTC Fireball) Coming to Verizon

HTC’s Incredible line handsets launched via Verizon Wireless are very popular. When rumors spread the third generation Droid Incredible is in works and will soon see light, everybody got concentrated on the carrier. They all knew Big Red doesn’t give way to other carriers when it comes to HTC’s Droid series. But geeks didn’t find anything in the carrier’s documentations except for a mysterious phone dubbed the HTC Fireball.

Some time later pictures of another unknown phone were leaked and people immediately recalled the HTC Fireball and crumbs of information they had heard about the HTC Droid Incredible 3. Now the situation is a bit clear — Droid-life says its source claims the HTC Fireball is the same third generation Droid Incredible smartphone and will be launched soon as the HTC DROID Incredible 4G.

According to another source, the HTC Droid Incredible 4G will be packed with a Super AMOLED screen, though the original size is unknown, a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, which sounds a bit unacceptable in comparison with HTC’s plans on quad-core processors, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP camera, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and as the name says, the phone will support the carrier’s LTE network.

No more info is available at the moment. Note that Verizon is also rumored to launch the LG Lucid 4G, which is a mid-range Android device, and the blue variant of the Motorola Droid RAZR.
