When mobile manufacturers launch a new high-end smartphone it’s always interesting to know how much it will cost. Luckily we often see quite affordable prices for them, and only sometimes carriers or companies require more than it was expected. The same things happened with the HTC Droid Incredible 2 that was launched yesterday. It is available for $199.99 as it was announced earlier, but tonight Amazon surprised all Droid Incredible 2 fans offering it at lower price.

The retailer works very well when words come to super handsets as it always sets lower prices than the carriers. Now the Droid Incredible 2 is available via Amazon for just $99.99. As you see it is a full $100 cheaper than the price Verizon requires for the phone.
The price is excellent, especially if we take into account the features of the smartphone. The HTC Droid Incredible 2 is a world phone supporting both GSM and CDMA networks. Its 4 inch S-LCD capacitive touchscreen, 1.1 GB ROM, 768 MB RAM, 8MP camera and 1GHz processor cooperate finely to bring the users high-class performance. Though the phone runs Android 2.2, its European version — the HTC Incredible S — has already got Gingerbread in many European countries, so we are waiting for the Big Red to push out the appropriate update for us, too.
If you were unsure whether it is worth to pay $200 for this handset, Amazon has solved your problem by cutting the price by half
