HTC Desire S coming to UK in April

The successor to the HTC Desire HD, the brand new HTC Desire S handset was introduced last week at the Mobile World Congress 2011.  We have already talked about the characteristics of the handset and now we would like to reveal for you some pricing and release date details of the HTC Desire S.
The HTC Desire S is expected to hit the Amazon UK store on April 18th  with the price tag of £420 SIM-free. Although the novelty has a lot in common with its ancestor but still HTC Desire S brings several changes. The handset has a 3.7-inch touch screen and unlike its predecessor HTC Desire received a front camera.

The device runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system just like the Wildfire S. Also among the characteristics of the device are a 5 megapixel camera with 720p video capability, 1GHz Snapdragon processor , GPS receiver, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, etc.
The Desire S will probably be available with the carriers like Orange, Vodafone and the Three.

The Desire S has surely made an impression at MWC 2010, but is it the only one to catch your attention?
