The comparison review of two top-end smartphones running Android: “older” HTC Evo 4G and hot new product – HTC Desire HD seems to be rather interesting.
The main hot point for both devices – a huge 4.3-inch touchscreen and an 8 megapixel camera with Autofocus and dual LED flash. The processors is Snapdragon Qualcomm, but in the Desire HD the second generation of Snapdragon has been used.
The main differences are present in the radio module (HTC EVO 4G is designed for CDMA and WiMAX-networks of the Sprint operator and HTC Desire HD – for both GSM and HSPA), and the peculiarities of performance.
The main benefit of HTC Desire HD is the aluminum case, while its rival boasts front camera and a the kickstand for putting it on a flat surface. HTC EVO 4G is intended for the U.S. market, so in some countries it can hardly be considered to be a full-fledged competitor to the new Android-flagship – HTC Desire HD.
