HTC Desire from Verizon Wireless

htc-desire

Another Android smartphone from HTC, under a passionate name Desire is expected to appear in Verizon Wireless network this Wednesday, October 28. The novelty has the proprietary interface HTC Sense and some features in design from HTC Hero. It seems HTC Desire has a goal  of succeeding for the same success (if not more) as the predecessor in excess demanded “Hero”.

Unfortunately, the Google-phone will left behind its attractive codename (Desire), and will be renamed into Droid Eris. It’s a little strange, because at the same time, will be announced another android-smartphone Motorola Droid. That combination of circumstances can cause some confusion, because in addition to the same names there is the same operating system Google Android on both devices. However, there the similarities end, since the execution of competing smartphones is on different form factors. Hopefully all this won’t turn into a complete mess.

Ex-Desire is a candy bar without a physical QWERTY-keyboard with 5-megapixel camera, WiFi module and Bluetooth, as well as a slot for microSD memory cards and GPS-chipset.
