There are not many smartphones with awesome cameras on the market. The Nokia N8 is alone in this area with its 12MP camera, other smartphones feature 8MP cameras. Now HTC deiced to launch a new smartphone with a 16MP camera called the HTC Bresson.
Probably the picture of this handset provided by Pocketnow is the modified HTC Desire S. But anyway, the form factor and the design are not the most important things in a smartphone. Generally, HTC smartphones have many common features, and I think the upcoming smartphone will be no exception. Anyway, the HTC Bresson is a Windows Phone 7-powered device that will most likely be equipped with the latest version of the OS — Mango (or Windows Phone 7.5, as we sometimes call it).
Moreover, the phone’s name is not selected randomly; Bresson is a French photographer, so this name shows that the smartphone has a photographic orientation. Below is a teaser video of this smartphone, have a look.
According to the rumors, the smartphone will be launched via T-Mobile in September, so this means Nokia has some reasons to worry a little, though MegaPixels are not the only significant factor in determining picture quality.
