The latest news regarding HTC’s 5-inch phablet referred to the naming and launch date. The phone will be called the HTC Droid DNA and will be launched by Verizon on December 6. All these pieces of news came in form of rumors, so they should be taken with a grain of salt. But everything will/might change on November 13 as Verizon and HTC have sent out invitations for a special event that will take place in New York at 11 am.
You needn’t have clairvoyant skills to know that Big Red will be announcing the Droid DNA. The phone is expected to come with the following features: a 5–inch 1080×1920 resolution display at 441ppi pixel density, 2GB RAM, 12MP camera, quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064, LTE support, HTC Sense 4+ UI and Android 4.1.1.
While many people might say there is no evidence HTC and Verizon will introduce THIS DROID DNA, PhoneArena pointed at the leaked photo on which the wallpaper on the phone coincides with the background of the November 13th invitation.
