Today HTC will hold a special event at which three new devices are expected to be unveiled. They are all said to run Windows Phone 8 OS, though it’s hard to believe one of the most Android-devoted companies will make three WP8-packed devices at once. However, right ahead of launch we have got several photos showing the HTC Accord, or as many geeks have called it, the HTC 8X and HTC 8S.
No hardware details were uncovered but we can say the HTC Accord will head to Verizon. It is assumed from the Big Red logo on the back of the phone. Other than that, the image shows the HTC Accord will come with Kid’s Corner Windows Phone 8 feature, which will allow users to limit access to certain functions of the phone to make the device safe for kids to play with. The device will also support 4G LTE and Beats Audio for clearer audio performance.
Yet no official statement has been made but there are several rumored specs. The smartphone is expected to sport a dual-core Snapdragon S4 SoC clocked at 1.5GHz, a 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 touchscreen at a resolution of 720×1280 pixels, and so on.
