Today Microsoft will announce Windows Phone 8, after which the OEMs, which are cooperating with Redmond will come up with corresponding statements. HTC will no doubt be among them and will announce when it will launch two of its latest Windows Phone 8 devices. Though we earlier learned Verizon would launch the HTC 8X in the US on November 12, there is now another statement according to which the international variant will be out almost a week later, on November 20.
As Notebookinfo claims, the HTC Windows Phone 8X and 8S will be released globally only on November 20. The top-end model will be priced at around 500 euros ($645) to 550 euros ($710) off contract, while the mid-range 8S comes at around 300 euros ($390).
Actually, these price tags are identical with what we saw some time ago but the launch date was news for us. Anyway, hopefully after they are launched both phones will be able to make a rough competition to Nokia’s Lumia range devices.
