No doubt this fall and probably early 2011 is going to be a parad of WP7 based handsets completing a very challenging task to satisfy as many phone geeks as possible and especially all QWERTY keyboard lovers by presenting three premium screen handsets sported with QWERTY keyboard: HTC 7 Pro, LG Optimus 7Q and Dell Venue Pro.
Especially for them Pocket-Lint compares the three above mentioned slideout smartphones and see which one will perform better .

Size
It goes without saying that here the preference is given to the HTC 7 Pro . Taking into account the volume of space it has the smallest footprint and although the LG Optimus 7Q or Quantum weighs a little less than the mentioned HTC 7 Pro, but still it takes up more place. In this round the Dell communicator takes the last place by being the biggest in size. However let us not hurry with conclusions.

Form Factor
The phone design is a matter of personal preference and taste, and surely all of the three handsets have their unique design features. Here both the HTC 7 Pro and the Dell Venue Pro can boast as they have a very good keyboard design, the angled screen makes the HTC 7 Pro rather useful as you can see what you are typing, meanwhile the Dell Venue Pro has more original design with its portrait slide and keys. The LG Optimus 7Q falls behind as there is nothing catchy about its design and it even looks a bit too standard.
Display
Due to its big size the Dell Venuemore apealling in this category, as it has a bigger screen. The Dell Venue is equipped with a 4.1-inch AMOLED-display with a protective coating Gorilla Glass, under which are three standard Windows Phone 7 touch keys. Although surely some may disagree saying that it lacks in pixel density, but nevertheless we see that the Dell has some advantages than the others.
Engine Room
If you follow up our posts you would know that all WP7 based handsets are featured with the same 1GHz Snapdragon processor and most of them come with 512MB of RAM. However we have found out that the HTC 7 Pro comes with a 448MB RAM, accordingly it loses in this category.

Storage
Since Microsoft was against using removable storage, the manufacturers decided to equip the phones either with 8GB or 16GB so none of them has 32Gb storage capacity, yeah, no matter how strange it may seem to you. Here only Dell can offer both storage options 8GB /16GB .
Camera
Microsoft has taken care that all Windows Phone 7 handsets have 5MP camera for the minimum, so camera features of all the three handsets coincide in this category, all of them are all equipped with LED flash, digital zoom.
