Gingerbread ROM for HTC Droid Incredible Available

The HTC Droid Incredible is one of those handsets that should get Android 2.3.4 in the middle of August, but some reasons prevented Verizon from releasing the update. Now, when no one is expecting the update, I have good news — Gingerbread ROM has leaked for the Droid Incredible. Though this not the official update, the developers assure it brings in all the goodies that users will see with the official one later.

This ROM is a good proof for those people who have thought the HTC Droid Incredible has reached the end of its life. I guess this is the last software update for this smartphone, but it is quite enough to keep it alive and competitive with other awesome handsets launched at the same time with this one. I like this phone and want it not to lose its popularity, because though its successor, the Droid Incredible 2 and the Incredible S are on stores and we are also waiting for the Droid Incredible HD, the original Droid Incredible remains one of the most successful handsets of the company.
