HTC’s smartphones vary in their features and prices, so there are phones for every kind of user. I won’t list all the models of the company, as you know them better than me, but among them I want to segregate one device, the HTC Evo 4G. If you are an owner of this handset, probably one of the factors that has attracted you was its HDMI output feature. There wasn’t a needed app for a long time to use this feature, though it was available due to a custom kernel. Now there is no need of using such methods, as an app called FullHDMI for HTC Evo 4G is developed to help you to truly mirror your Evo’s display in real time on a TV screen.

Due to the FullHDMI app you can watch videos at 720p streaming directly from your handset to the TV, but besides this the game emulators, video files, Flash videos and Android games are all fair game for large-screen viewing.
But here is a little delicacy you should know: the app can broadcast through your TV if you are running an HTC Sense based ROM. So it will be useful to use HTC Sense over CyanogenMod. For this deal you’ll need a special HDMI to Micro HDMI cable that is not included in EVO’s box. It’s not very expensive, and if you decide to go on you can buy via Amazon for $2. The FullHDMI costs itself $2.99, so watch the video below showing this new app in action and get started.
