Microsoft enhanced and enlarged its capacities for Windows Phone to make it fit for the Chinese market. The main issue faced by the previous version of WP was the support for the Chinese letters and characters. Finally this issue is solved with the introduction of the Chinese version of Metro interface. The interface supports both traditional and simplified versions of the language. The first manufacturer to offer a WP model in the country will be HTC.
The first WP model will be called the HTC Triumph/Victory, while the codename of the model is HTC Eternity. It’s not a novelty, simply the Chinese version of the HTC Titan. The model comes equipped with a 4.7-inch WVGA display and front-facing and rear cameras. The device will use a large list of Chinese apps.
The Eternity is currently an unlocked or so-called “opern market” model. Still it might soon be available with a contract with China Telecom, one of the largest carrier in the country.
